You know that thing that happens when someone close to you is pregnant and then you start to see more pregnant women all around? That can happen, I think because pregnant women are more to the front of your mind so therefore you notice other pregnant women more.
Without there being someone you know being pregnant, would you still see other pregnant women but not actually notice them so much or would there be less pregnant women around?

That is one possible train of thought on todays happenings.
I've really got into the law of attraction lately, I've re-read things from Think and Grow Rich, reviewed certain paragraphs in Lotus in a Stream. I've also been thinking a lot about online things, what sort of things I could do if I put my mind to it, well, put my toys down and took something seriously for a while.
I designed an ecommerce site a few months ago (well, manipulated a template and script) as part of my job and it turned out really nice. Things changed direction at work and the project was put on hold until the future.
The future is now!
It was only last week that I was thinking how nice it would be to have my own large ecommerce site with a big range of stock available to me for good prices. I thought about it some more this week and even went so far as to try and make another one to see how hard it was to change the style but keep the same categories and use the same database on a different domain in the far future dream of controlling a portfolio of websites that all use the same stock but have been targeted differently by having particular products on special offer.
Today I was told I have been invited to play an integral role in a mahoosive project, a large budget "get it made and working" project. I get to do what I've been doing already with my own sites but on a larger and more importantly, bigger budgeted way! I can't say more about it, except - "what an opportunity!!"
of course, I totally knew that was gonna happen.......... ;-P
on a side note, I went to the shop today to buy some stamps and finally decided to check the euromillions ticket that has been in my wallet for a couple of months. 17.82 !! hahaha, I won the lottery. In true Homer Simpson style, I bought 11 more with the winnings. I wonder if my karmic behaviour will give me a "my name is Earl" experience? lol :-)
I've got a day off this week!! yey, my first Sunday off in 4 weeks so I'm going to use the time in the morning where everone else is asleep and think about a successful online business and how many staff I can get, how big the warehouse is going to be and even how many packages a day will be going out the door. I'll have imaginary meetings with powerful manufacturers, leaders of business and drive an imaginary mercedes A class home to my bungalow and sit down next to my partner and watch a massive HD tv and recount in joyish fashion how good it is to be 'us'...
.. and then I'm gonna have poached eggs on toast with frankfurter on the side. mmmmm
